Quirky Phoebe

About ten days ago I completed another quirky pet painting which is of my sisters chihuahua named Phoebe.

The colours used for this painting was a mixture of light and dark pinks. The white paint is for the white areas of Phoebe’s fur and for highlights too.

This is also not the first time I have done a chihuahua in the this style but I feel this is even better than the previous one. 🙂

Quirky Basil

A few weeks ago I completed another quirky pet painting but this time it is of my and my parents Cocker Spaniel named Basil. I actually did this as an wedding anniversary present for my parents.

The colours used for this painting was bright oranges and yellows, whilst I used orange for the background on order to make the dog stand out more rather than use yellow.

This is probably my favourite quirky pet painting that I have done to date so far. 🙂

Quirky Benji x3

Before Christmas or more like Christmas eve (luckily I finished them in time 😉 ) I completed three new quirky pet paintings. I was asked by my younger sister to do these for my three nieces in remembrance of their recent decent dog named Benji.

Compared to the normal style that I usually do for the quirky pet paintings I had to use multiple colours. Also each background was painted in accordance to which niece favourite colour is so they can tell them apart.

New Service Added! Quirky Pets Pop Art Paintings

I would like to introduce a new service that I am now doing in my traditional painting service section. This is titled ‘Quirky Pets’!  A colourful pop art of your pet/s!

The painting is made up by choosing 2-3 main colours. I then use white paint as a highlight and to also blend in with the main colours in order to give it more depth. Finally I use black paint for outlines and for larger dark areas.
